Patricia McGibbon

Originally from New York, Patricia first stumbled upon yoga from walking by a very sweet and welcoming yoga studio in Manhattan. Yoga is part of the fabric of the city. Everyone knows someone who does yoga. I have an adventurous spirit so I thought why not give it a try. I did and I have been hooked every since. That was over 25 years ago. Patricia possesses an RN license and is E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance and certified LifeForce Yoga Practitioner, as well as various therapeutic yoga certifications.

"To this day it never fails to amaze me to see and be part of the healing, restorative and life changing benefits of yoga. I have studied with many teachers around the country and continue to do

so. I am a teacher but I will always be a student. There will always be new things to learn, new ways to approach a pose, new avenues to be explored. I believe teaching is a healing art form, one that allows the teacher and the student to equally partake in the creative process that unfolds as one embarks on the yogic path to well being and empowerment."

Patricia's background is in the Integral/Iyengar/Anusara tradition. She teaches proper bio-mechanics and alignment in the poses not only structurally and muscularly but also energetically and spiritually. She loves to teach students how to become aware of how their individual body works and moves and to help and guide them to deepen their connection to their own innate fluidity

and healing. It is the ultimate reward to teach and be part of a student’s health and growth. Her teaching and passion are geared

towards a long-term investment in health. One that won’t “bankrupt” you but only add to the richness and joy of your everyday life going forward.

My mantra is “As you grow, so do I and as you smile, so do I.”
