Lisbeth Carlisle

Lisbeth is a certified yoga instructor through yoga Alliance. She graduated from the Sacred Heart and Mind yoga school where she specialized in chair yoga. She has taught a variety of Holistic modalities to adult learners for the last 30 years. She is a certified energy healer (Healing Touch and Reiki) and a registered nurse.

 

Yoga has many benefits, encompassing the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional bodies.  With proper alignment, Chair yoga can offer all the benefits of traditional yoga. It’s all about moving one’s chi (prana or life force).  It doesn’t matter whether you are sitting, lying or standing.  Focused movement plus conscious breathing and intention are what is important.

 

So if you have physical challenges that make it difficult to get up and down from a mat, try chair yoga.
